"Hi, my name is Hilary and I’m a qualified colon hydrotherapist and a registered member with ARCH and the CNCH. I studied psychology at university, then diversified into sports therapy and sports massage. The more I studied the human body the more I realised that what we put into our body had an extreme effect on what ultimately came out or what didn't. After undergoing countless colonic treatments myself, I realised that becoming a colon hydrotherapist was something I really wanted to do.
I am passionate about my profession. Helping people overcome their problems can be life-changing for some individuals. It’s not just about the treatment, but also teaching people the importance of nutrition and exercise. In the modern world of fast foods and access to manufactured, dried and frozen foods we have forgotten that nature knows best. It is important that we make the best out of nature.
The West has turned to manufactured medical treatments, but many people are reverting to holistic medicines that have been around for thousands of years, such as colonic therapy. I believe colonics should be part of everybody’s lifestyle. I also believe that if your guts are kept clean and the right flora is allowed to do their job, then this could help in maintaining a healthy body. I always include (free) a herbal enema (infusion) into the colon during the treatment. These herbal treatments are sourced from a qualified herbalist. I also offer a probiotic implant with 75 billion good bacteria at the end of the treatment at an extra charge of £10. This can help to keep the pathogenic bacteria in your gut at bay.
Having run a very successful practice in Bristol, I decided to move to the country and have moved to the border between Shropshire and Herefordshire. Here in the small village of Richards Castle which nestles next to Ludlow, I have built a bespoke Colonic Irrigation Clinic which looks over the fields and Mortimer Forest. "
